| Article: Shrinking Laundy in the Washer and Dryer I've always been accustomed with just letting my clothes dry under the heat of the sun. In where I live, this is pretty conventional, as people are not generally fond of using the dryer. | Yes, nowadays it is much practical to use dryers because not all have the time to hang their clothes outside. But for me it is still much better to hand your clothes and get dried by the sun. Anyway, we have different preferences on about this matter. What is important is that we know that what we are wearing are all clean and tidy. Have a good day to all. |
| The detergent that you're using may also be the reason why your clothes shrink when you wash them in the washer and put them in the dryer. Some washing machine detergents are so strong that they cause discoloration and shrinkage of clothes. I agree that hand washing and hanging your clothes to dry under the sunlight is better and it will also preserve the quality of your clothes. Just use a mild detergent. |
| We are already in a modernized world and I think we also have to learn how to make use of the different inventions of technology. So if you are looking forward for a better life it would be helpful to use dryer to dry your clothes. You can even save your time and do other household chores. It might be expensive but I think it is still useful for us. |
| I agree with you Marynor, what will be the purpose of inventing this kind of technology if we will not be able to make use of it. Modern technologies invent things to make work a lot easier for us. To people who needs time management, dryer would be more appropriate to use. But practically speaking, dryers sometimes cost a lot that some people can't afford to buy so it is also better for them to just hang it under the sun. |
