Remember, it's essential to know your fibers. Cotton is made from the fluffy fibers of the cotton plant. Usually, cotton fabrics are preshrunk so there’s little to no possibility of ruining them. | I would disagree about the cotton, though many cotton items are preshrunk, there are just as many as are not, and the bleeding tendency of cotton is quite high. I personally prefer a cloth which has a mix of cotton and other materials which reduce the cotton's tendency to shrink, even if pre shrunk, materials like a little polyester, which though artificial is quite durable and easy to clean, dry, and iron. |
