Is formaldehyde bath safe for bromhidrosis?

My feet are sweating but that is not my problem. The real problem is the odor when wearing any footwear, literally any footwear. I believe I tried everything to get rid this pesky odor but it still persists, to my embarrasment and ruin my daily activities, especially when at work. Is formaldehyde safe and are there any other solution to treat the real cause of this odor...
