Where can I buy ethically made clothing?

Thank author of this post/commentI'm not a super hippy or anything! I just would like to know where I could be some fashionable clothes that AREN'T made using slave labour. I would also love if I the materials came from fair-trade sources. I know etsy.com is good for handmade clothes but are there any mainstream shops or website (UK and Ireland)? The only one I've heard of is American Apperal and I don't like them that much.
