Am I too young to be doing this? - Handmade Clothing
| Am I too young to be doing this? Every friday in the afternoon, saturday and sunday I set up a table laying out clothes I made myself using a sewing machine that I got for my 13th birthday. I know how to make nice hoodies that can easily sell for atleast 20 dollars. I mostly make hoodies, but sometimes I knit really cute hats with animal ears on them. My hats thatI I knitted sell for atleast 10 dollars and they don't do as great as my hoodies that I make myself. The most expensive thing that was sold at my clothes stand that I started myself was a hoodie that a 15 year old girl generously offered 50 dollars for. I was am so friggin happy:) I believe I can have a successful job selling and making clothes. I already make from a range of 50 to 100 dollars a day , 3 days a week. I am only 14 years old right now and I think my sewing skills can get me somewhere because I am already making so much money. I have been doing this for a year since 13 and my mom always surpervises me when I am selling them. No has been stopping me from making clothes. I might post an ebay link for auction on my handmade clothes but YA says I can't advertise. |
