| Help on the site Etsy.com? I'm thinking of maybe trying to sell on etsy.com, but it says only handmade things, custom supplies, and vintage items are allowed for sale. But when it comes to clothing, do we have to make the actual clothes ourselves? I wanna know if I can just buy a blank shirt or sweatshirts, print a design on it, and sell it. |
| Printing your own t-shirt to be sold on this website is a very good idea. Even if the t-shirt is a ready to wear stuff but then the printing is very handmade. I think more people will be very interested with this idea and for sure more clients will buy these stuff. I hope that you can do it because these shirts with personalized prints are in nowadays. | Buying plain shirts with good material and printing your own design on it is a great idea. Those statement shirts or shirts with cute cartoon characters are in demand nowadays. You can put witty quotes or jokes of the day on the shirts and I'm sure that they will be a shoo-in in etsy.com. Please make sure that you will have separate shirts for the guys and for the girls. |
| Thanks for the advice Frances. I have to say that I have been seeing those kinds of shirts whenever I go out. I would want to also have mine. And since it is so expensive to buy signature clothing it would be fun to try an alternative. And those customized shirts are great. Most especially if you have some good designs in mind. | Of course, you can buy plain shirts, just create your own design, and then you can print it on the shirt. I think that will be acceptable for Etsy.com. But I would agree that it is really nice to see handmade clothing, because you can really see the uniqueness of the clothes. You will also be impressed with his skill and creativity of the maker. I have bought some handmade clothing in Etsy.com and they are really fantastic. |
