| Article: Should You Rent or Buy A Tuxedo? A month or two months ago, the company management where I work in already announced the exact date and venue of our Christmas Party for this year. The theme for this year will be a formal ball, which will be held in the ballroom of one of those big hotels in the city. It was OK, fancy and all, but we were also told that the dress code is formal, meaning I have to wear a tuxedo.Read the complete article here: |
| "To Buy Or To Rent? "
If I am to wear a tuxedo for a certain occasion, I would rather rent one than to buy and just let it rot in the closet. My work does not require me to wear such type of clothing and so it is not advisable for me to buy one. And you felt like wearing tuxedo as costume in a party, then it is much better to rent than to buy. |
| Renting or buying a tuxedo has its own advantage and disadvantage. Hence, it depends on the purpose of the user. If you feel like you can still use the tuxedo in the future, it will be better to purchase so that you won't be spending another amount for the next rent. But there are some people who prefer to rent if they will only use it once. Great day. |
| consider your budge. if you can afford to buy by all means do it but if not, rent it. there is nothing that would make a man feel like a man, a respected man than in a tux. now, if this has no meaning to you at all, rent. it is like a wedding gown for women. actually you can really have one which you can use on special occasions. |
| For me personally, I would never really consider buying a tuxedo, unless my lifestyle changed very drastically. While it is costly enough to rent a tux, I really do not use one often enough to see the need to own one. I would imagine that having one and keeping it looking good would far exceed the cost of occasionally renting one. So far, I have only worn one about every seven years. |
| If women are conscious of what they should wear, I think men do more than them. It is really important that we consider looking good in public because it also builds up our personality. Men's wear is very important to be well taken care of especially with big occasions. When it talks about renting or buying a tuxedo, I think it would depend to the person who will use because if it is just for one time use then you better just rent it but if you will always use it then just go and buy. It is still the same. |
