| Questions: Is it rude of the bride to tell a pregnant guest to wear a black dres One of my brothers is getting married and his fiance has told me to wear black dress so I don't look like a beached whale in her wedding photographs. I feel like this is just adding insult to injury for me because I was originally a bridesmaid but when I announced I was pregnant I was uninvited to the wedding until my brother said he wasn't going to get married with out his youngest sibling there so now I'm just a guest. All my other siblings are part of the wedding, my brothers are grooms men and my sisters are bridesmaids. She's been really funny when my other siblings and I have had children as she can't have children herself. She will go out of her way to have no interaction with her nieces and nephews and her in laws whilst they are pregnant. She pretended to be sick - my brother told us she was pretending to be sick just as they had to leave - to not go to one of my sister's birthday parties because my sister was pregnant. Part of me really doesn't want to go while she is like this but I am really close to my brother and don't want to disappoint him. |
