| Power dressing is usually done at work. In fact, it is a must if you want to be respected by your superiors and colleagues. It is done mostly by women who want to prove that they can deliver and even excel in the corporate world. They wear kick-ass clothes in to send this message loud and clear. Although the men also have their own idea of power dressing. At the same time, power dressing also calls for dressing comfortably in the office. More than anything else, you have to be comfortable in what your wearing to be able to excel at work. |
| For me it is important to get properly dressed and not overly dressed. There are some who would over dress even if they are just going to the office. It is awkward to wear something that is not that applicable with the place and occasion. I have seen some folks doing it and of course I do not want to do the same thing. So thanks for sharing those tips in here. |
| When I was in college, my friends and I use to have power dressing. It's just some kind of enjoyment in our part. Every specific day of the month, we get ourselves ready to wear catchy attires. But now, I seldom do power dressing. In my workplace, it's just important that you look good and pleasant. There's no need to impress the people in the way you dress up but it's how you handle your work. |
| I am really not that aware of the things that I wear because I felt comfortable taking them. When I got my job as a teacher, one of my co teacher told me that I dress up like a teenager and I should be in great improvement for that reason, I don't see any mistakes in doing that, Well, I know she sees some inappropriateness in my self that is why she told that. |
