| Ladies: Are garterbelts & stockings coming back into business attire? My wife, who is a lawyer, and I were having a discussion this weekend about whether garterbelts and stockings were beginning to replace pantyhose in the workplace. She says her Firm is mixed - some women have gone the stockings route, while others are still wearing pantyhose. Your thoughts and experiences? So do you wear them to work? Is it a daily thing? |
| There is always space in a woman's wardrobe and workplace attire for stockings and garterbelts. Especially in the summer, they are great, and cool and you don't feel restricted around your wait like you do with pantyhose. Stockings make a woman feel so sexy, so I suppose it depends on what type of work you do, if you know what I mean ! |
| Women employees using garterbelts and stocking with their business attire is really nice to look at. Aside from comfort that it brings it is also nice to see professional wearing such stuff. Whenever I wear stocking with my business attire, I really feel confident and comfortable. I really think that I am working in a very professional way. As you know, as a professional, appearance matters a lot as well. |
| It is always a challenge to wear pantyhose so I'm not surprised to know that garterbelts and stockings are back in vogue. Those hold-up stockings are the best, though because you don't need to wear that uncomfortable garterbelt anymore. Still, I understand why some women would still to pantyhose. Once you have overcome the challenge of putting them on, you won't have to worry about them falling off unlike ordinary stockings that have a tendency to roll down. |
| That is true. I would still go for pantyhose. I am not that of a type of office girl who would just think of being sexy and stuffs like that. I am more on the comfortability of what I am wearing. Anyway, women have different preferences on what to wear, it is just a matter of choice and how they are going to wear them. Have a great day to all. |
