Answers: If you are naturally well curved and built well, do you have to  I usually wear proper underclothes and loose attire but some folks are harassing me saying I am not dressing decently at work. I do not wear low cut or tight dresses or wear shorts even. I do have a good figure which shows no matter how I dress. Should I wear bulky big coats to completely cover myself? Anyone having this issue at work? I feel very upset about this unfair instigation about me in the workplace. Please help. |
| Delbert, you could try this. Have a look at some web sites that deal with workplace attire, specifically for the type of business office that you are working in. Perhaps that will help you to choose more appropriate outfits. If you are a naturally gregarious dresser, wearing bright colours say for example in a lawyers office, that might not go down well. Perhaps a few simple shift dresses with nice flat shoes, and several light jackets that you can wear over them might work better for you. Certainly if you are wanting to get ahead in the business you work in, I would suggest that the more professional your appearance, the greater your chances. |
| You cannot blame our office mates if they see you not wearing proper clothes because you are working in an office. You are supposed to wear the proper clothes. Some people might get distracted at you if you keep on wearing inappropriate clothes. Try to go searching online guides on what to wear at an office set up. | Some offices would use a uniform for their workplace attire so it won't be a hassle for employees to think the kind of clothing they have to use. But for some companies employees are having a hard time choosing the right kind of workplace attire. Well as for me, casual attire or wearing a decent blouse and formal pants is enough as long as you look professional and formal. |
| Be thankful about how frank or straightforward people are to you. Would you rather want to see people laughing at you or here people talk behind your back about how miserably you dress. Of course the initial reaction would be to take offense but we must also learn the value of their criticism towards how we dress or how we generally look. Would you rather have them not speak with you about it only to be secretly laugh at when in the office. If you are sane enough then you completely know what the answer to that question is. |
| Hi there! Well, sometimes you don't need to let other people bother you. If what makes your life comfortable, why bother listen to them. Well, if you think those suggestions would really be for the better, give it a try, who knows that may magnet more admirers.
